We have been officially working since January of this year to transform this council, formerly known as "Historic Project. AC" into a Private Assistance Institution. We are now the Historic Center Governing Council. IAP. With great commitment and love for the Historic Center, we are joining forces to care for, protect, conserve, and project our crown jewel in Mazatlán.We are currently 54 councilors representing 14 committees, including: Security and Order, Urban Image, Culture and Arts, INAH Relations, Dissemination, Networks and Media, Community and Neighbor Relations, Resource Management, International Community Relations, Investment Promotion, Public Services, Rules and Regulations, Gastronomy, and Tourism Promotion. This project has gained vitality thanks to all those who are directly or indirectly involved, and our results are already palpable.

Standardization, production, and installation of 450 street names in the Historic Center in a single, legible format that blends seamlessly with the surroundings. Cumulative annual investment of $343,056.32 by 2024

Bicycle and motorcycle repairs, uniform repairs, space maintenance, and more. Cumulative annual investment of $67,036.19 by 2024

Street decoration in the Historic Center with the installation of lights on more than 40 streets. Cumulative annual investment of $657,511.30 in 2024

Purchase of 97 m2 of porphyry flooring for the rehabilitation of deteriorating streets. Installation pending. Cumulative annual investment of $172,953.29 in 2024

With an investment of $467,043 in 2023, this project continues with new construction. Cumulative annual investment of $19,600.00 in 2024

Redesign and utilization of CFE transformers to make them informative and showcase regional topics. Currently, there are 30 transformers with legends and 6 dedicated to flora and fauna. Cumulative annual investment of $181,464.00 by 2024

Maintenance and operation of the underground irrigation system consisting of 400 lights and 800 flowerpots in the Historic Center, as well as outdoor planters in public spaces. Cumulative annual investment of $289,891.87 in 2024 Average monthly investment of $16,240

Maintenance and repair of sidewalks and streets. Cumulative annual investment of $38,255.50 in 2024

Installation of billboards, chandeliers, and advertisements for the Historic Center as a tourist attraction. Cumulative annual investment of $31,610.00 in 2024

Lighting, flooring, and a playground were renovated, as well as additional lighting installed for this public space. Funded in part by funds raised from a brunch organized with local restaurants. Total investment of $320,758.24.00 in 2024
